Faith through the Fight: Max's Story
Max is a 17-year-old high school senior from Oklahoma, a football player, powerlifter, and young man whose faith in God is at the heart of who he is. After an accident left him with a severe spinal cord injury, Max was rushed into emergency surgery. When he woke, he was unable to move or speak, and his family was told he might never move again. In a single moment, life changed for Max and everyone who loves him. Yet throughout the uncertainty, his faith and trust in God has deeply moved and inspired us.
Standing With Max
When we learned about Max's story, we felt called to stand with him through prayer, words of encouragement, and support. We made a donation directly to Max and his family, and for the next three months, 25% of net proceeds from every By Faith order will also go to them to help meet the needs that come with his recovery. The road ahead may be long, but every order is a way to help Max's family and remind them that a community of faith is walking beside them.
